15 November 2025 (Predappio, Italy)
On the occasion of the centenary of the founding of Predappio, a conference is organised on 15 November 2025 at the Teatro Comunale. Built after the landslide that struck the area a few years earlier, Predappio immediately played a key role in building the myth of Il Duce and his origins, within the well-established system of fascist propaganda. It is no coincidence that important and accomplished architects active in Rome, such as Cesare Valle and Florestano Di Fausto, were invited to work in Predappio. The conference focuses primarily on Di Fausto, including a comparison of his work in Predappio and other European countries (in the Peloponnese and Tirana in particular). Download the programme.
