ATRIUM participated in the informal meeting of the representatives of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, held on 24 June as part of the Mediterranean Creative Europe Desks Meeting in Selinunte, Italy. The meeting provided an important opportunity for dialogue between the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes in attendance and the Creative Europe Desks in the Mediterranean region.
Among the topics that emerged during the discussion was the prospect of celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes Program, which could serve as an important opportunity to develop joint initiatives. Another point for reflection concerned the concept of “crossroads,” understood as a meeting point between different cultures, heritages, and identities – a theme that offers interesting prospects for future collaborations among the Cultural Routes.
